STI National Centers

STI national centers provide specific national services, working groups and events to STI International members located within a given country. National centers provide a means for coordinating the activities of individual national members in order to increase the potential impact of these activities.

Opening STI National Centers

On September 23rd, 2008, the first of the STI National Centers was established, led by the Free University of Berlin (STI Germany North) and the University of Karlsruhe (STI Germany South).

STI Austria offers services specifically targeted at the Austrian market to members of STI International based in Austria. The national center is founded by the current Austrian members of STI International, namely STI Innsbruck, EC3, TU Vienna, Hanival, LiXto, and seekda. The center will be located in Innsbruck, Austria and lead by Univ. Prof. Dieter Fensel.
