SARID (Service Austria: Research and Industry Dissemination) has the goal of disseminating the latest research achievements in the area of Semantic Web Services and Semantically-enabled SOA to the professional community.

Two leading research groups in the area, STI International and STI Innsbruck, will organize key conference, workshop and industry day events so that academia and industry can keep abreast of the newest developments and latest opportunities.

As a result, SARID will help pave the way to national and global uptake of this cutting edge technology to improve enterprise efficiency and competitiveness, and in the long run, to realise the worldwide Web of Services.
