This provides a web-based facility for proposing new working groups in STI International. For this, please define the charter by filling out the below web-form below.

What a STI Working Groups?

Working groups are the means for conducting research work in STI International. Each group works on a specific semantic technology, with the aim of developing novel concepts and solutions with a potential for standardization. A working group specifies a charter that defines the aims, duration, expected results, and the participants. The technologies developed in STI working groups should be general and generic, so that they can be used and further extended within affilaited research projects. After completion of the research work, the central results are taken as the basis for the preparation of pre-standardization specifications.

The STI service managers coordinate the research work, and STI International offers thorough support for the working groups, including the technical infrastructure (website management, modern ICT technologies) as well as organizational support (phone and video conference equipment, meeting facilities, etc.).

Please also see the existing STI working groups.
