BT’s portfolio of ICT services includes IP infrastructure, CRM, security, applications, managed mobility, hosting and outsourcing. Within BT’s Research and Venturing Department, the Next Generation Web Research (NGWR) team researches future Web and intranet technologies. In particular, this includes the application of semantic technologies and Web 2.0 technologies to areas such as business intelligence, knowledge management, information integration and service-oriented environments. Recent collaborative research projects have included SEKT (coordinator), DIP, SOA4All and ACTIVE (coordinator).
