Training
To ensure a proper technology transfer from research to industry, STI makes an effort to educate industrial parties, for example by organizing tutorials teaching the technologies developed by the different member institutions.
The training programs can be conducted as public courses held on a regular schedule or they can be further customized and offered as on-site training to any interested parties or as part of third party organized events such as conferences, congresses, fairs or industry forums. In these settings, STI takes over the organization of the training events and can optionally also provide the staff required to hold the respective tutorials and/or the training materials.
Further on, STI is in the process of setting up a certification program for professionals, in collaboration with the ÖCG (Österreichische Computer Gesellschaft/Austrian Computer Foundation), which is the leading forum for such activities in Austria.
