co-located with the 3rd Future Internet Symposium
B
erlin, Germany | September 20, 2024

With the development and convergence of the Internet of Services, Things, and Content, what
new collaboration and interoperation techniques and methodologies will prove beneficial to
modern enterprises?

The FES Workshop will provide a forum to showcase and investigate the application of
Future Internet technologies in support of solutions for networked enterprise collaboration and
interoperability. Presentations from high profile speakers will be a highlight of the workshop
and open calls will be distributed inviting candidates to present their research results
addressing the initial list of topics listed below.

Our goal is to bring together leading researchers and enterprise thinkers who can contribute to
our vision. Around the Future Internet and the Services and Architectures work, a Global
Services Delivery Platform is posited. This platform must also be directed towards providing
services to enterprises, and addressing the service requirements of Enterprise Computing. We
are interested to hear other innovative services in the Enterprise Integration and Enterprise
Collaboration fields which could take account of the most recent and promising technology
challenges in areas such as Social Web, Semantic Web, Space Computing and Web Services.
We also seek key Industrial Scenarios which can provide requirements to this vision of future
Enterprise Computing and are able to demonstrate first steps towards this vision, e.g. use of
semantics, services and SaaS in Enterprise Integration and Enterprise Collaboration scenarios.

This workshop is supported by the EU IP COIN. COIN works on designing and developing a
pervasive, adaptive Service Platform to host services for Enterprise Integration and Enterprise
Collaboration. This is seen as underlying future Enterprise Systems, where services can be
provided in an innovative, on-demand, utility-oriented manner, making businesses run more
securely, reliably and efficiently.
