XimetriX was created on 2003 to help organizations in the access and management of content. Through the development and deployment of a Semantic Content Management System called ximDEX, XimetriX has accompanied their customers in the strategic management of content and services in electronic formats, using W3C standards and Semantic Technologies.

XimetriX has further extended its scope and portfolio with the deployment of ximFIND, an hybrid semantically enhanced search engine to search and filter with structured and unstructured content, aiding organizations to retrieve the correct piece of information anytime, anywhere.
Innovation and cut-edge technology development in XimetriX have been acknowledged by the European Commission and the European Council of Applied Sciences and Enginery due to the nomination for the EISTP, the highest distinction to those products and innovative enterprises which represent better the European capacity in the field of the Information Society.
